Translate into English - Post #225

I read everywhere. Buses are no exception.

Scintillate, scintillate, globule vivific!
In vain do I ponder thy nature specific--
Precariously poised in the ether capacious,
Closely resembling a gem carbonaceous;
Scintillate, scintillate, globule vivific,
In vain do I ponder thy nature specific!

It may help if you sing it to the tune of the alphabet song, which is also...

The answer lies here.

That comes from Papa, who is also accustomed to singing the version from Alice in Wonderland...something about bats and tea trays.

Home in three days...I'm looking forward to it, but there's just so much to do. Summer work, reorganizing my room, I officially ruined all my good clothes between Cumbrae and Hope so I need some for school, stupid stupid wisdom teeth...I swear, I'd stay here forever if it weren't for the people I'd miss.

Tonight we're going to Anne's (my aunt). Yay? The summer school's play is tonight and I'm not there to see it. =/ Rachel is an "ancestor" (it's Mulan). So good luck to all you guys.

Going to the Heart's shop for new football jersey (in layman's term: going to a fan shop for my dad's favorite soccer team to get their new shirt thing), then to that internet cafe so my dad can use his laptop for work stuff, then to Anne's. I think. So I hope everyone's having fun wherever you are. If you're reading this, I beseech you, leave me a comment. Please? Just curious. I get "Oh, so-and-so read your blog and says..." from my mom every so often, so i know you're out there...

Miss you all.

When will you learn that reading on city buses is worse than reading in cars with all the stop and go . . . . . . . . . . .!!!!!!!!
Don't worry about your wisdom teeth so much! We are waiting until late September early October as your schedule is too busy to fit it in before school starts! I changed surgeons for you to a younger one who you will meet before in plenty of time to get used to him.
I guess from your complaints about ruining clothes that we have to endure shopping? I can't wait? You know how much our family loves shopping . . . not! Can't you just wear everything inside out and start a new trend instead?
Tell Papa I said keep singing!!!
Love You!

These are the reasons I love you so much.

Yes, it is bad to read on buses, I was pretty much the closest I've ever been to sick without actually being so.

I don't want to miss school...or oboing...or oh dear marching band...but I'd much rather wait and meet this guy first. So thanks.

You did not just say ...not. That's so...90's. I don't know you. But yes. And I'm not sure I wanted to wear this pair of jeans anymore anyways, after Jason tried them on...emo kids. What do you do with them??

Papa says "Keep the aspidistra flying." What?

Love you too!

At least I'm not still stuck in the 80's with big hair and leg warmers!! Would it have been better is I said "My Bad?"

Ew, why did Jason try on your jeans? Never mind don't answer that!

I'm lost on Papa's comment but then I'm usually lost on all Papa's comments!

Love You!

Mom - I love you, but no.

Danica - Hahaha, Danica I've missed you. Sure, we'll go shopping. And as much as Jason should wear guy jeans, you should wear girl jeans. They're like that for a reason. o.O Odi?

Margaret Phillipa said...

yes. odi. it's short for odin.
go look at my blog and you'll know who he is.

I can't. Until I get home anyways..or ooh, we're going to an internet cafe, I'll look then. But do to your...erm...'vocabulary' shall we say, the rather strict parental controls on my grandparents' computer forbid your blog. That's why I haven't commented. I will if we go to the internet cafe.

Hi Iona,

I know I'm a little late to be saying this but it is only 11:58 here so I think I'm good for the next 2 minutes before the day technically ends so

Happy 3 Month Anniversary!

I would have done it sooner but between no cell service and no wifi it was very hard to get in touch with you. And yes i knew it was the anniversary before i opened the box for today.

So anyway i should probably give you and everyone else that will end up reading this a recap of the trip at the moment.

I'm sitting on my couch/bed about 5 miles from Mt. Rushmore which my dad randomly decided to go visit today. It was very nice but it didn't change since the last time i saw it last year.

I put a complaint in the complaint box there because for some reason they haven't added your face on the mountain yet =)

Lets see... I also hung up the dream catcher thing on a lamp thing over my couch. It is very nice . Um before i fall asleep also Caden is an excellent name and I hope to be home on Wednesday.

Good night or good morning to you cause your probobly waking up now and I'll talk to you later, I miss you

Danica - Awww, thanks. Your dog is adorable! I'm back at home so I'll comment on your blog again probably tomorrow night, which is when I'll get home. I doubt my dad will be concinved to go down...internet cafe...I can't think straight. I just woke up. But thanks.

Tom - You may be the best person ever. =) Haha, my dad woke me up...

Dad: "There's a comment on your blog you might want to read..."
Me: "I'm sleeping..."
Dad: "It's from Tom..."
Me: "Is this a clever but cruel way to get me out of bed?"
Dad: "Ooof, no, that would be cruel."

Thanks for remembering. =)

I didn't see that compliment coming, I'll give you that much. =) Haha. And I'm really really tired and have absolutely no retort. Cept you're the best.

I'm glad you're enjoying the box. I just realized that I wandered across my grandparents house while pretty much asleep and am sitting here. When did this happen?

Wednesday is the...1st? Well, whenever you get home you can open the rest of them. Or during the last stretch of your trip if it becomes momentarily dull. Unlikely.

I now have every intention of going back to sleep. I was dreaming about racing roller coasters (like Hershey) against my church school leader...it was really weird.

I miss you too. <3
